This website has been designed to provide information on the Strategic Infrastructure Development Application for proposed development submitted in accordance with Section 182A of the Planning & Development Act 2000 (as amended).The proposed development is for an electrical installation that can generally be described as consisting of a 110kV electrical substation and underground grid connection that would connect the proposed substation to an existing Eirgrid substation within the SSE Power Station at Great Island.
